In the film, Naomi Watts and Edward Norton’s characters travel to Venice for a honeymoon and then on to his medical post in Shanghai. Thus, the story takes place there and in a stunning, ancient, Chinese town called Huangyao.

Marie Antoinette is a 2006 comedy-drama written and directed by Sofia Coppola about the French queen before the French revolution. Especially worthwhile seeing because of the marvellous costumes and its satirical playfulness, but also due to the performance of Kirsten Dunst. And the setting? The Favourite from 2019 is a wonderful film set in 18th century England at the court of Queen Anne. Actresses Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz play out wonderful dialogues and staggering scenes. This is a dark, funny and masterful film.
