We would like to give you a London guide because London is T.ba’s second home. And, needless to say, while the British countryside is close to our hearts and a source of inspiration, a few days in London is unrivalled for eating, sightseeing, shopping and enjoying oneself.

Eat & Drink
Sit down in small local restaurants and enjoy good food. Luca restaurant is a really nice Italian restaurant in Clerkenwell. Sit in one of the booths for a romantic setting. They also do recommendable pasta making courses in case you have time to try it.
Also, Quality Wines Farringdon is a small wine bar with awesome food. In their shop at daytime you can buy wine, cheese, fruits and homemade chutney.
Visit
Sir John Soane’s Museum is a real treasure. Soane was a famous British architect and unstoppable collector. So, his house contains more than 40,000 objects – sculptures, books, paintings, and curiosities. A hot tip in this London guide is to go at night, when they serve cocktails and the place is candle-lit. We also love their cute gift shop.
Visit British Library to marvel at the architecture, but also to explore their collection of some of the most valuable maps and texts in the world. There, you can see everything from Shakespeare’s First Folio to Scott’s last diary entry from the South Pole. Quite unforgettable.
Shopping
While in London, you must come by us. The two T.ba stores are open daily. Ideally, you should visit both as they have distinct identities and are in two lovely neighbourhoods.

T.ba London Chelsea

T.ba in Chelsea is the largest of the two shops in London. Each year, we also participate in Chelsea in Bloom, which marks the beginning of summer and is a beautiful yearly event.
Pavilion Road is just off Sloane Street, very close to Harrods. Pavilion Road, Motcomb Street and Kinnerton Street is a small pocket of town with several lovely shops.
For example, we recommend the linen shop Vis-a-vis and the candle shop Rachel Vosper – to which you can bring cups and vessels from home that they will fill. More personalised shopping can be done at Cosmetics à la carte where they mix shades for you.
