We are sure you have read it before, but in truth, a creative quarantine is a great way to move forward. Journaling, doing crafts or cooking take advantage of the same creative place in your brain.
Now, you can take advantage of the time at hand to do something different. Perhaps you would like to give one of these activities a chance? They are all inspired by the beauty of nature..
Be Creative in Your Breaks
Do you love to draw? Have a drawing pad and pencils ready. Put them at the place you take breaks to encourage you not to look at screens. This way, it will be easier to get started.

Why not be inspired by the classics and make your own still life? These are usually a painting or drawing of a commonplace object such as food, flowers, plants, rocks or shells – or something man-made such as books, a glass or vase.

Use Vegetables to Make a Print
In this short film, Mariken Kramer, curator at the National Museum in Norway, shows how you can easily create stylish prints.
You only need vegetables, paints and paper.
Make a Nice Food Platter
Quinoa bowls or “rainbow bowls” are getting increasingly popular. Today, we would like tomake a good old cheese board or grazing platter. Take your time to find a cutting board or perhaps a baking tray of some size. Those have sides, which makes it easier.
Find small bowls for dips and little things such as small berries. And decorate your board with relishes, fruit paste, fresh fruit or vegetable pieces, dried fruit, cured deli meats, olives etc.

You can just throw in whatever ingredients you have on hand, add some dips – we love hummus and whipped lemon feta cream – and vegetables and you’ll have a beautiful, nutritious (and delicious) meal on your hands. Also, they can also be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch OR dinner.
Enjoy!
